FAIRFAX, Va., Feb. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- VMD Corp today announced that it has won a $77M project with the United States Air Force supporting the Office of Information Dominance and Chief Information Officer (SAF/CIO A6).

SAF/CIO A6 helps the United States Air Force fully exploit the man-made domain of cyberspace to execute, enhance and support core missions. Three core priorities guide its efforts. They are: 1) increasing the effectiveness of Air Force core missions by providing timely and accurate information, ensuring that airmen at every level can make informed decisions quickly; 2) increasing the security of Air Force systems and information amid persistent and evolving cyber threats; and 3) realizing efficiencies through innovative IT solutions by identifying, vetting, funding, and implementing the untapped, innovative ideas that can increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of the United States Air Force.
VMD will provide SAF/CIO A6 with business analysis, advisory and assistance services in support of the following areas: Deputy Chief Information Officer, Cyberspace Chief Information Security Officer, AF Chief Technology Officer, Cyberspace Strategy & Policy Directorate, Cyberspace Operations & Warfighter Integration Directorate, and Cyberspace Capabilities & Compliance. The team will also help develop Air Force cyberspace strategy, policy and requirements in support of the United States Air Force's global mission.
