The price for regular season Major League Baseball tickets increased 14 percent (or $10 per ticket) to $82, on average, year-over-year. Other notable highlights include:
- The Chicago Cubs have the highest average price at $130 per ticket. The World Series Champions' regular season ticket sales increased by 55 percent for the upcoming season.
- Atlanta Braves' tickets prices are up 58 percent to $80 per ticket, the biggest increase in the league, likely due to increased demand as fans are excited to attend games in the team's new stadium, SunTrust Park.
- The Kansas City Royals saw the largest decrease in average ticket prices, declining 22 percent to $74.
