Vista Capital Closes $10,000,000 of Financing for the Candlewood Suites in Indianapolis, Indiana

MALIBU, Calif., Feb. 21, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Vista Capital Company announced that it recently closed $10,000,000 of financing for the Candlewood Suites located in the medical district of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. "Vista has now financed more than $250,000,000 of hotels in Indiana over the last seven years," said Zak Selbert, founding principal at Vista Capital. Vista's focus continues to be centered on the hospitality industry and this financing further cements their dominant position as a capital intermediary in this niche market. Vista has now demonstrated a commanding role in Indiana-related hospitality financing, a state with a strong and growing hotel market.  

Vista was able to negotiate highly favorable, non-recourse, fixed-rate financing for the property. The 10-year capital will be used, in part, to fund a comprehensive PIP that will transform the property and reinforce its leading position in the market. The financing was awarded to a European-based investment bank after a competitive bidding process that is central to Vista's unique capital-raising strategy.

Converted from an apartment building in 2007, the Candlewood Suites is a 142-room hotel, located centrally in the growing medical district of downtown Indianapolis. The property boasts large living spaces, ideal for extended-stay visitors. The hotel will benefit from a combination of an extensive renovation and significant development nearby.
