Selected canine will serve as official mascot and promote pet-friendly destinations
VACAVILLE, Calif., Oct. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Visit Vacaville, a destination marketing organization, today announced its search for a new mascot. Visit Vacaville invites members of the public to nominate their favorite pooch to serve as canine ambassador for the organization and assist in marketing the pet-friendly activities, dining destinations and places to stay in the city.
The Director of Barketing must meet several requirements to be hired. First, the winning dog must be great with people, especially kids. The dog must also be photogenic and available up to six times per year for photo shoots, and able to attend local events with its owner four or five times per year. Additionally, the Director of Barketing should be a publicity hound, as he or she will be featured at www.VisitVacaville.com, in blogs, on social media and in print publications.
To apply on behalf of a dog, please submit a photo and a few words about the nominee to [email protected]. The winner will receive a doggie gift basket prize package worth more than $250 and standing as the city's newest celebrity.
