LANGLEY, British Columbia, May 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- VisionShare has the fastest transmission speeds available in today's wireless collaboration solutions because it uses the 60 GHz band. 60 GHz is an attractive space for multi-gigabit wireless communications which is VisionShare's advantage in that it has no latency even with 4K video. 60 GHz is the only way to wirelessly stream high quality, no latency 4K video between devices. Other collaboration solutions that are using 2.4 and 5 GHz bands must heavily compress the 4K video which results in a lower quality and high latency video experience.

By choosing the 60 GHz band, NorthVision also avoids the expected congestion found on typical systems that use 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. WiFi is a general purpose technology that will not interfere with VisionShare as it uses 60 GHz which was developed to handle complex HD A/V content. 60 GHz band stays within the intended room of usage.

The VisionShare A20 system includes a receiver that can be connected to a monitor or projector, two transmitters with a power station along with the necessary support cables. Users can quickly share their screen and enjoy transmission speeds that rival HDMI cables with the convenience of WirelessHD 60 GHz.

Beamforming is used to transmit bi-directional data between the VisionShare's transmitters and receiver. By implementing beamforming, users can prepare to experience high-quality streaming HD video and higher bandwidth transmissions as the signal will be far more concentrated.

For additional security, data is encrypted with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) from the transmitter to the receiver to the intended display.
