Agilysys, Inc. has applied its expertise in extending retail store technologies, including Point-of-Sale and PIN pads to the development of the Customer Response-Ability™ product. "The partnership between Vision-1 and Agilysys takes advantage of each organization's core strengths, creating a powerful, easily integrated customer feedback tool. The Vision-1 product, which will be deployed to the retail industry by the Vision-1/Agilysys partnership, is a high-resolution customer relationship management (CRM) solution composed of both software and services. It offers a heightened level of customer intimacy driven by POS-resident CR-A software and a matrix of CR-A quantitative reporting, which delivers real-time insight to customer perceptions and beliefs at the point of transaction/sale. For the retail community, CR-A software displays select questions via the PIN pad, capturing customers' perceptions along with other data related to that particular transaction at that moment in time. The resulting data stream can be used to drive real-time operational and management reporting, serving as a basis for continuous process improvement.
