HARTFORD, Conn., Feb. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Virtus Global Multi-Sector Income Fund (NYSE: VGI) declared a distribution of $0.117 per share to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 11, 2013, payable February 19, 2013. The fund estimates that 95 percent of the distribution is attributable to net investment income and 5 percent to short term capital gains which represents approximately $0.006 per share. All amounts are based on U.S. generally accepted accounting principles which may differ from federal income tax regulations.
