Virtus App Wins Best Investment Mobile Application In First MobileWebAward Competition

HARTFORD, Conn., May 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Virtus Investment Partners (NASDAQ: VRTS), which operates a multi-manager asset management business, has been awarded Best Investment Mobile Application in the inaugural MobileWebAward Competition held by the Web Marketing Association.

Launched in March, the Virtus Mobile app is a resource for financial advisors, investors, and market followers, providing access to the firm's most up-to-date blogs and commentaries, including the monthly market indicator calendar from chief market strategist Joe Terranova.  It also offers a way for advisors to connect with Virtus' regional sales teams.
