RICHMOND, Va. and WASHINGTON, Sept. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Virginia Velocity Tour Business Plan Competition announced the finalists today that will compete for five $25,000 business grants in public pitch events throughout Virginia from Sept. 19-23. The events will take place in Roanoke, Richmond, Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia and Charlottesville.
The Virginia Velocity Tour, a partnership between Village Capital and the Commonwealth of Virginia, is a weeklong event designed to provide visibility and seed funding to promising startups throughout Virginia. The program will highlight industry sectors of regional strength, including biotech, health, energy, agriculture and security.
