COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Virginia "Ginny" L. Clear, RN-BC, DON is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a 2015 Pinnacle Professional of The Year in the field of Healthcare. Ginny is the Director of Nursing at Sunrise Family Healthcare.
Sunrise Family Healthcare is a home health care agency in Columbus, Ohio, accredited by the Joint Commission (TJC) and Ohio Department of Health that provides patients with home health aides, respite services, physical therapy, skilled nursing services and more.
With five decades of experience in Nursing, Ginny attributes her success to her desire to provide the proper care to patients, while making a difference in their lives as well. She chose her career path to follow in the footsteps of her parents; her father was a physician and her mother was a nurse. Before working for Sunrise Family Healthcare, Ginny worked at the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services for thirty five years.
In her current capacity, Ginny is responsible for the oversight of over 300 employees, and she works closely with aspects regarding healthcare management and administration. She is a board certified Registered Nurse (RN-BC), and is also board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (PMHCNS). Aside from the demands of work, Ginny is active within her local church (Livingston United Methodist Church) and her local food pantry. She enjoys traveling to visit family and spending time with her pets as well.
Throughout the course of her education, Ginny received her Nursing degree from the Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Ohio.
