SAN FRANCISCO, March 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Virgin America today reported its preliminary operational results for February 2014 and the first two months of the year. The airline's February traffic (measured in revenue passenger miles) rose 4.2 percent on capacity (measured in available seat miles) that was 2.7 percent higher than in the same month in 2013.
Load factor was 76.8 percent, up 1.1 points from February 2013. The number of onboard passengers was 445,000, a 10.3 percent increase from the same month last year.
