SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Virgin America today took the top honors for "Best Premium Class" among domestic airlines in Conde Nast Traveler's 2011 Business Travel Poll. The annual independent survey of the magazine's business travelers ranked Virgin America as the top U.S. airline for Premium Class service for the fourth consecutive year, as reported in the October issue of Conde Nast Traveler – on newsstands September 20, 2011. To thank its loyal business flyers, the airline today launches a "Jet Back to Business" fare sale with low fares in both the airline's Main Cabin and its premium Main Cabin Select service. Main Cabin Select fares from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to major business destinations such as Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) start from $149* and $199* respectively (restrictions, taxes and fees apply). SFO and LAX Main Cabin fares to DFW start from $109** (restrictions, taxes and fees apply).

An independent firm asked over 25,000 Conde Nast Traveler readers identified as business travelers to rate hotels, airports and airlines on a variety of criteria. Final scores (out of 100) represent the percentage of readers who rated a hotel, airport, or airline "excellent" or "very good." Virgin America rated an overall score of 90.2.
"We're humbled that the discerning business travelers who fly the most have once again ranked our service the best in the domestic skies," said Virgin America President and CEO David Cush. "Our goal is to keep our guests comfortable, connected and productive at 35,000 feet, and to many of our frequent travelers, our flights really do offer an office in the sky. In addition to the quality of service, we also believe we're offering unrivalled value – with our Main Cabin Select service featuring amenities which most legacy airlines cannot duplicate in their First Class services."
With topnotch service, beautiful design and a host of high-tech amenities, Virgin America has built a loyal business flyer following since its 2007 launch. The airline offers modern business travelers features like WiFi (the airline was the first to offer WiFi fleetwide as of May 2009), standard power outlets near every seat, personal touch-screen entertainment and the ability to order food and drinks at any time during a flight right from the seatback screen. The airline's Red™ entertainment platform offers +700 hours of content, including live TV with news and sports. The carrier's premium Main Cabin Select service offers guests 38" of seat pitch – about 6 inches more legroom than Main Cabin, unlimited complimentary cocktails and snacks from the airline's award-winning menu, free movies and premium TV like HBO and Showtime, priority security access/boarding and one free checked bag. In addition to a Main Cabin that offers custom-designed leather seats with a deeper, more comfortable pitch, Virgin America's First Class features international-grade amenities and plush white leather seats with 55 inches of pitch and lumbar massagers. Virgin America's latest advertizing campaign showcases these business-friendly features in a digital short that can be viewed on the airline's You Tube page at: http://www.youtube.com/virginamerica#p/f/10/3gh99dP4uZc
