V.I.P. Mortgage Expands Into Texas
First Branch Opens in Arlington
ARLINGTON, Texas, Oct. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Arizona-based V.I.P. Independent Mortgage, Inc. today announced the opening of its first branch in the Fort Worth/Dallas area, as the company continues its forward thrust to grow amidst the turmoil of the industry. The mid-size mortgage bank uses a transparent platform that is extremely enticing to originators versus other competitor's offers. This is a core reason V.I.P. continues to grow rapidly while other companies are folding.
"In my opinion, V.I.P.'s platform specifically is the future for loan officers that want to be in the lending business for the long haul," said Kevin Bostad, an industry vet and regional manager of the Arlington branch. "This company's family culture exudes loyalty and trust, integrity and team work. They're a class act."
Since opening its doors in December 2006 with only two people, V.I.P. has spent the past five years growing exponentially to 14 branches and more than 175 employees. As of last week, the company's closed units were just shy of 2010's year-end total of 2,360. Projected revenue is expected to surpass 2010's year-end revenue of $498 million by the end of this month.
"I have full confidence that Kevin and his team will have a huge presence down south and add to the incredible success of V.I.P.," said President and Founder Jay Barbour. "Kevin's work ethic and commitment to excellence attracts people who share our simple philosophy: taking care of people, exceeding their expectations. Our Texas branch is led by seasoned professionals who are problem solvers, always striving to learn, always seeking to improve."
