Vionic Introduces Vionic Pro™ Slip-Resistant Shoes
Vionic footwear debuts line of shoes for those seeking support and style
SAN RAFAEL, Calif., May 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Vionic introduces Vionic Pro, a line of slip-resistant footwear made for the performance-driven professional who craves style and support. The collection is designed for the pro in everyone, elevating classic "duty" shoes by combining Vionic's trusted technology with on-trend styles for all day comfort.
"Since we started Vionic we've been asked for slip-resistant footwear, and now we have it," says Vionic Executive Vice President of Marketing Lisa Bazinet. "Keeping professionals on their feet so they can help others in comfort and…style".
Vionic Pro answers the needs of customers who work on their feet and crave Vionic support yet, require slip-resistance for safety. It is ideal for service industry professionals including those who work at hospitals and restaurants and exceeds industry standards for slip-resistant footwear. The line combines style and thoughtful design elements for those who work long hours on their feet or in high-step environments, including expanded size and width options, cushioning and a removable orthotic for long lasting comfort.
The Vionic Pro line debuts this spring with two women's styles and will introduce three additional women's and one for men in fall 2019. The Avery slip-on sneaker is the first release, and features oil and water-resistant leather or suede uppers in classic colors and fashionable metallics with flexible twin-gore panels for added comfort. Subsequent women's releases include the Mable, a sleek lace-up sneaker in dual color oil and water-resistant leathers, and the Julianna, a lightweight mesh slip-on sneaker in on-trend seasonal colors and classic black. Men will enjoy the Landon, a classic lace-up sneaker with a durable slip-resistant sole for constant comfort at work.
Over a decade following its launch, Vionic is trusted for offering shoes with unmatched style and addictive support. The new Vionic Pro line allows the brand to share its support with professionals who need it most, while allowing self-expression through style.
