With 15 years transactional experience representing the world's leading companies, Ms. Kokolus is a trusted advisor to firms that are navigating complex legal challenges.
She has counseled an extensive number of clients on IP, data privacy and cybersecurity aspects of M&A transactions, including many cross-border deals. Ms. Kokolus also serves as lead counsel on strategic transactions, including acquisitions, licensing matters and collaborations for technology companies in a wide range of industries. These industries include consumer and retail, banking, financial services, asset management, health care, life sciences and education.
In addition, Ms. Kokolus has guided clients on legal issues related to data strategies and monetization, along with the integration of artificial intelligence.

Ms. Kokolus received her J.D. from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Commerce with honors from the University of British Columbia. She joins Ropes & Gray from Dechert LLP, where she was partner in the technology and IP transactions practice. She also has previous in-house experience as she was seconded as legal counsel to Apple Inc. in Cupertino, California and Panasonic Corporation in Osaka, Japan.
