Located on L.A.'s famous Miracle Mile, Johnny Rockets provides authentic food and an added touch of Classic Americana for guests taking in the museum's vintage car exhibits. Johnny Rockets also offers guests - spending $20 or more - a special two-for-one admission discount to the museum and coveted one-hour validated parking in the museum garage is always available for restaurant guests.
"We have found partnerships with entertainment venues to be very successful and are glad to commemorate a stellar first year at the Petersen Automotive Museum," said Johnny Rockets CEO, John Fuller. "L.A.'s Miracle Mile is such an iconic part of the city's history and – as L.A. is our hometown - we're proud to bring the timeless fun and feel-good ambiance of our brand to museum guests and local patrons who appreciate a classic all-American experience."
In celebration of the one-year anniversary, restaurant guests are invited to visit new museum exhibits, including the 'Cars and Fashion' display. Open through January 2011, 'Cars and Fashion' features pre-World War II cars and pays tribute to the impact of that era on the fashion and automobile industries. The franchise owners of the Johnny Rockets' Petersen Automotive Museum will display their own 1926 Silver Ghost Rolls Royce.
"The restaurant has been a hit with our museum guests and we're excited to mark the one-year anniversary of partnering with Johnny Rockets," said Chris Brown, information and marketing manager at the Petersen Automotive Museum. "Tourists and L.A. natives alike love exploring the exhibits and vintage cars, then relaxing with a satisfying meal at Johnny Rockets."
Johnny Rockets was chosen as the museum's franchise partner because of its classic American menu and decor, which aligns well with the museum's dedication to preserve and present the automobile and its impact on American life and culture. Other Johnny Rockets locations in the Los Angeles area include Knott's Berry Farm, Manhattan Beach and Six Flags Valencia, with the first Johnny Rockets opening on Melrose Avenue, in 1986.
