Vinson & Elkins Expands Finance Practice with Addition of David Wicklund from Debevoise

NEW YORK, July 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- David Wicklund joins Vinson & Elkins' highly-regarded Finance Practice Group as a partner in New York.

Wicklund expands V&E's existing capabilities in acquisition finance and capital markets high yield offerings with his substantial experience representing private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and other public and private issuers and borrowers – both investment grade and non-investment grade – in connection with domestic and cross-border bank financings and bond offerings. V&E ranked #1 in Banking and Finance Law in 2013 U.S. News – Best Lawyers and was recognized in American Lawyer's Corporate Scorecard 2013 as the #5 high yield issuers' counsel by volume in 2012.
