Vimicro Extends Positioning in TD-SCDMA Market
Designed-In Three Handsets Selected in Recent China Mobile Tender
BEIJING, Nov. 22, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Vimicro International Corporation (Nasdaq: VIMC), a leading multimedia semiconductor and solution provider, today announced that, through a major OEM customer, it provides the mobile multimedia co-processor for three of the selected handset models in the recent TD-SCDMA handset tender from China Mobile.

Vimicro mobile multimedia co-processors offer a rich suite of multimedia features including support for China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting (CMMB) functionality and video conference capabilities.
