ViewCast to Demonstrate Streaming Media Solutions and Address Current IPTV and OTT Video Trends at IBC2012

What: ViewCast will exhibit in IBC2012's Connected World, a special area featuring the latest developments in internet connected devices capable of making content available anywhere, and will present the IPTV and OTT capabilities of its products during a special session in the Demonstration Area. Additionally, ViewCast's booth will feature a range of established product lines, highlighting its new streaming solutions including:
- Osprey 845e and Osprey 820e cards: The high-density SDI Osprey 845e is a recent addition to the Osprey line bringing broadcast flexibility to enterprise, government and integrator markets. The dual capture Osprey 820e card's lecture capture features will be demonstrated.
- Niagara SCX 7.0 software: An updated version of encoder management software with a simplified user interface, the Niagara SCX 7.0 platform now supports MPEG2 Transport Stream output format.
- Niagara 2200 & 9100-IP streaming media systems: The new Niagara 2200 is a cost-effective and compact multi-format encoder. The high-performance Niagara 9100-IP's interface will also be on display.
Additionally, ViewCast's partner, Oasys, a developer of automated video playout solutions, will also be demonstrating the Niagara 9100-2IP at their booth in Hall 8 (#8.B38c). The Niagara 9100-2IP will perform transcoding to support playout to a variety of devices, ranging from PCs, televisions and mobile devices.
