Vietjet, Pratt & Whitney celebrate selection of PurePower® Engine for A320neo, A321neo Aircraft Order
HANOI, Vietnam, May 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Vietjet and Pratt & Whitney gathered to celebrate the selection of the PurePower Geared Turbofan™ (GTF) engine to power their order of 63 Airbus A320neo and A321neo family of aircraft. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2017. Pratt & Whitney is a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
The PurePower Geared Turbofan engine family has more than 7,000 orders, including options, with more than 70 customers from more than 30 countries.
