VideoIQ Expands Sales Team with New Regional Director

BEDFORD, Mass., Dec. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- VideoIQ, the leader in delivering innovative video surveillance solutions, today announced the addition of Sagy Amit to its sales team in the position of Southwestern regional sales director.  In this role, Amit will be responsible for driving sales and distribution of VideoIQ's line of intelligent all-in-one video surveillance systems, including iCVR-HD cameras, iCVR dome cameras, iCVR encoders, and the iCST line of streaming cameras and encoders.  In addition, VideoIQ has significantly expanded the dedicated technical support, channel partner support and order processing teams to provide an increased level of customer support from initial communication through order completion and ongoing technical support. The additional infrastructure ensures a streamlined customer experience as VideoIQ's customer base continues it exceptional growth.

Amit brings extensive security industry experience to his role as regional sales director, having held senior level sales positions at ioimage, Safeguards Technology and SOS Advanced Security. Amit spent five years at ioimage, where he helped grow it from a 14 person start-up to a recognized video analytics provider.  Most recently, Amit was the national director of business development as part of the Security Center of Excellence at Schneider Electric, where his team was responsible for increasing the footprint of Schneider's $500 million security business in North America.
