Video Case Study Describes Pioneering Application For Cartridge-Style Dust Collection
JONESBORO, Ark., Nov. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC), a leading producer of industrial dust and fume collectors, has published a video case study showcasing dust collection solutions for Watts Water Technologies, Inc. A world class manufacturer of water handling devices, Watts Water broke ground on a new addition to their foundry in 2012. This new lead-free facility had processes that required three separate dust and fume collection systems – one to handle sand, one to handle fumes, and one to handle grinding dust.
The six-and-a-half minute video testimonial describes how Farr Gold Series® dust collectors from Camfil APC have met all three challenges – including the removal of high volumes of wet sand, a pioneering application for cartridge-style dust collection that has been adapted from the mining industry. The Gold Series collectors handle and clean up the air which can be exhausted to atmosphere in the summer or returned back into the Franklin, N.H. facility in the winter to heat the building.
Watts Water Technologies, Inc., through its subsidiaries, is a world leader in the manufacture of innovative products to control the efficiency, safety, and quality of water within residential, commercial, and institutional applications. The new Lead Free foundry reflects the company's commitment to proactively meet the requirements of the "Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act," which goes into effect in January 2014.
