The 62nd annual convention titled, "There is a Superhero Inside All of Us – You Just Need the Courage to Put on the Cape!" offers participants a variety of educational and social activities consisting of an award luncheon, speakers, interactive sessions, movie night, the highly anticipated convention dance and a trip to Busch Gardens.
"Victory Living Programs participants are hard at work planning and saving to attend this year's convention," says Bobbi Wigand, Executive Director of Victory Living Programs, "For many, this is a chance to travel, make new friends and continue to learn and grow in a positive environment."
In preparation for the convention, participants in Victory Living's Adult Day Training Program have been preparing handmade super hero masks for all 400-conference attendees to wear to Thursday night's dance. In addition, they are also crafting super hero picture frames so all convention goers can spotlight a special memory from this year's conference.
Although participants are encouraged to work, save and fundraise to attend the convention, Victory Living Programs' attendees did receive transportation funding due to the generous support provided by the Angles for Victory and their guests who attended the Bites, Bangles and Babes fundraiser in August.
