HUNDREDS OF U.S. MAYORS TO GATHER FOR 80TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE:

WASHINGTON, May 11, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The nation's mayors, led by Conference President Los Angeles (CA) Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa, will gather in Orlando, Florida from Wednesday, June 13 to Saturday, June 16, for the 80th Annual Meeting of The United States Conference of Mayors (USCM), to be hosted by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.

United States Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. will address the bipartisan group Friday morning, June 15th. Additional speakers will be announced at a later date.
During the meeting, mayors from all over the country will come together to discuss public policy issues impacting cities and their metropolitan areas. On the final day of the meeting, mayors will debate and vote on resolutions that will shape the organization's priorities for the year.
