MECHANICSBURG, Pa., June 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Vibra Healthcare, LLC ("Vibra"), owner and operator of specialty acute care hospitals, announced today that a Dallas, Texas subsidiary of Vibra has entered into a lease with Methodist Richardson Medical Center ("MRMC") for the third floor of Methodist Richardson Campus for Continuing Care facility at 401 W Campbell Rd., Richardson, Texas. The leased space consists of approximately 29,481 square feet and will be renovated to initially accommodate 20 long term acute care hospital ("LTACH") beds. Vibra expects to have the renovated space completed and ready to admit its first patients in the first quarter of 2016.
The new LTACH will be named Vibra Hospital of Richardson ("Vibra Richardson") and will share clinical programs, services, and administration with Vibra's LTACH located at 2700 Walker Way, DeSoto, Texas. Vibra plans to maximize the well-established track record of experience and exceptional patient outcomes of its DeSoto LTACH through sharing the experience and knowledge base of its current employees, clinical teams and medical staff.
When fully occupied Vibra Richardson will employ approximately 65 medical professionals and staff. Features will include among other amenities, 14 private patient rooms, 6 intensive care rooms, rehabilitation therapy gym area, pharmacy, activities area, specialized procedure rooms and easy access to visitor parking. Additionally, the Vibra Richardson hospital will be supported by 24/7 fulltime onsite physician coverage.
