MECHANICSBURG, Pa. and TAYLOR, Mich., Feb. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Vibra Healthcare ("Vibra") and Oakwood Healthcare ("Oakwood") announced today the joint venture and opening of their new Long Term Acute Care Hospital ("LTACH") that will occupy 40-beds and over 17,000 square feet on the second floor of the Oakwood Hospital – Taylor Campus in Taylor, MI.

The new LTAC hospital is named Vibra Hospital of Southeastern Michigan – Taylor Campus ("Vibra Hospital – Taylor Campus") and will share clinical programs, services, and administration with the Vibra Hospital of Southeastern Michigan located on West Outer Drive in Lincoln Park, MI. The Vibra Hospital – Taylor Campus has completed all pre-opening inspections and regulatory approvals and is open and admitting patients.
When fully occupied the new Vibra Hospital - Taylor Campus will employ about 160 medical professionals and staff. Features will include among other amenities, 12 private patient rooms, 14 semi-private rooms, rehabilitation therapy gym area, pharmacy, activities area, specialized procedure rooms and easy access to visitor parking. Additionally, the new Vibra Hospital – Taylor Campus will be supported by 24/7 fulltime onsite physician coverage.
