Previous to ViaWest, Ms. Burton managed the Enterprise Acquisition Marketing Group for Qwest Communications, where she guided the company's efforts in the growth of business services.  Prior to Qwest, she also held business marketing positions with Ernst & Young, Sequel Venture Partners, and Baxter Healthcare.  Ms. Burton is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she received both a MBA and a Master's in Telecommunications Engineering.
