Viamericas introduces money transfer as a service

BETHESDA, Md., Oct. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Viamericas Corporation, an international licensed money transfer company, announced today they are offering Money Transfer as a Service (MTaaS) through its new digital financial services platform. Viamericas is embracing the open API economy to allow partners to expand their product offerings through their own consumer direct channels by utilizing the new ViaConnect and ViaPay APIs for money transfer, bill payment, mobile top up and PINless long distance calling.

Viamericas' APIs incorporate a directed-send model which allows customers to select specific payment partners, creating a platform which provides more competitive pricing and exchange rates than can be provided by "will-call" models used by the largest competitors in the international money transfer market. The new ViaConnect and ViaPay APIs give partners access to competitive pricing and award-winning customer service through Viamericas' network.
