Via Surgical Appoints Stephen Blumenreich as the Board of Directors Observer

AMIRIM, Israel, May 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

Mr. Blumenreich, an investment banker at Raymond James, brings nearly 20 years of experience advising growth-oriented medical device companies and has completed numerous capital raising and M&A transactions in the aesthetics, cardiovascular, diabetes, diagnostics, general surgery, orthopedics, and spine subsectors. He joined Raymond James in 2012 when the firm acquired Morgan Keegan & Co., where Blumenreich worked since 2009 as a managing director. Prior to that, he was co-head of the Medical Device Group at Thomas Weisel Partners where he helped build one of the leading medical device underwriters on Wall Street. He began his career in the M&A Group at Salomon Brothers before joining Alex. Brown & Sons in the Health Care Group. Blumenreich received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an AB from Dartmouth College.
