VH1's "Love & Hip Hop" Is Back In The Big Apple For Season 4 And "Chrissy & Mr. Jones" Settle In For Season 2
IT ALL BEGINS MONDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2013 ON VH1
NEW YORK, Oct. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Tune into VH1 Mondays this fall to kick off the week with a bang when the network's hit series "Love & Hip Hop NY" and "Chrissy & Mr. Jones" return with all-new episodes. Catch up with familiar faces and dive into new storylines when "Love & Hip Hop NY" season 4 premieres at 8PM ET/ PT, followed by the 2nd season premiere of "Chrissy & Mr. Jones" at 9PM ET/ PT on Monday, October 28 on VH1.
Back in the City That Never Sleeps, new dreamers and fresh talent join the ranks of fan favorites on "Love & Hip Hop NY." In New York City, these movers and shakers will stop at nothing to get to – and stay – at the top.
Much of the heat this season is generated by a crazy love triangle involving rapper-turned-manager Peter Gunz. He's been living with Tara Wallace, his gorgeous girlfriend of 13 years and mother of his two boys, but has recently started a new relationship with his client, beautiful songstress Amina Buddafly. Now Gunz has to figure out a way to keep these two angry women apart -- and it won't be easy.
Joining the New York cast this season is Atlanta favorite K.Michelle, who has released her chart-topping debut album and is relocating to the Big Apple to take the music scene by storm. Will K leave her wild ways behind, or will she rip through New York like she did Atlanta?
After welcoming a new baby with fiance Mendeecees Harris at the end of last season, talent entrepreneur Yandy Smith is focusing on keeping her head held high as she juggles being a career woman and a single mom while waiting to hear Mendeecees' fate as he awaits his trial. Meanwhile, singer/model Erica Mena is more determined than ever to find success in love and career with or without former manager/lover Rich Dollaz, while Tahiry Jose and Joe Budden find that getting back together isn't always easy, even when you both want the same things. Erica Jean and rapper Saigon round out the cast, and though the two share a son, Erica finds herself wanting more out of the relationship with the father of her child.
Meanwhile, across the river in New Jersey, "Chrissy & Mr. Jones" pick up where they left off at the end of the first season, as fans waited with bated breath for Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones to make it official and tie the knot. Season 2 finds Chrissy and Jim resolved to take the pressure off of marriage for the time being and welcome Jim's son Joseph "Pudie" Jones Jr. home for the summer. Pudie is a brilliant, adorable, and shrewd operator, and when paired with Jim, hilarity ensues. This leaves Chrissy an instant parent trying to find exactly what her role in the household will be.
Of course, the season wouldn't be complete without Mama Jones. Ever the entrepreneur, she's looking to launch a million schemes and is still up to her old tricks. Viewers will watch the dynamic of the Lampkin/Jones household change as Chrissy takes on a stepmom role and Jim tries to teach Pudie important lessons of the street, while working hard to turn his clothing line into a successful family business.
