ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., April 18, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Veterans Business Network (VBN) of Orange County is hosting a networking mixer in the Greater Orange County area to promote its mission of developing a stronger community of veterans in business.
The April 20th mixer is a special event that will be hosted at the Mission Viejo Country Club on April 20th, 2017. The Honorable Josh Newman, State Senator - CA district 29 and Army veteran, will be emceeing the event where distinguished community veterans will be recognized and special guest speaker Larry Broughton will share his journey from Special Forces Veteran to successful entrepreneur. The mission of the VBN is to enrich the lives and careers of veterans in the business community through communication and social networking, and to encourage all veterans seeking meaningful employment to connect with a strong, established community that can offer assistance and support. By building meaningful relationships, growing careers, and helping fellow veterans step into meaningful employment, the VBN is building a strong, cohesive network of individuals who all share a common experience and understand that 'veterans help veterans.'
VBN mixers occur monthly and are focused on networking, but they're also focused on strengthening the veteran community as a whole. To this effect, the VBN partners with and supports veteran initiatives throughout the Greater Orange County Area to include the OC Goodwill Tierney Center for Veteran Services and the Mentoring Veterans Program (MVPvets).
