Veteran National Security Journalist Kimberly Dozier joins The Cipher Brief as Executive Editor
Former CBS Correspondent brings national security and military expertise to The Cipher Brief's reporting team.
WASHINGTON, Sept. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cipher Brief CEO & Publisher Suzanne Kelly is pleased to announce the hiring of Kimberly Dozier as Executive Editor of The Cipher Brief, a premiere national and global security news and analysis website.
Launched in 2015, The Cipher Brief leverages the expertise of highly qualified former government and private sector executives to better understand and analyze global security issues. The website, a hybrid of reporting and analysis, was launched to bring more depth and expertise to global security issues.

Dozier previously worked for the Associated Press as an Intelligence Writer from 2010-2014. Prior to that, she spent 17 years as an award-winning CBS News foreign and national security correspondent. She was injured in 2006 while working for CBS News in Iraq.
Dozier is also the author of a best-selling memoir, Breathing the Fire: Fighting to Survive and Get Back to the Fight.
