Veteran Expands Barbecue Business with New Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Daphne

DAPHNE, Ala., Nov. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- John Lockett retired from the United States Air Force and Mississippi Air National Guard with over 20 years as an air traffic control officer. Lockett found his next career in barbecue with Dickey's Barbecue Pit. On Thursday, November 20 at 11 a.m., Lockett will open his third location in Daphne. To celebrate, Lockett is hosting a three-day grand opening celebration where the first 50 dine-in guests receive gift cards worth up to $50.

On Saturday, the new Dickey's Barbecue Pit will offer all day merchandise giveaways.
