Veteran Executive Ron Wall Joins Advanstar Communications as Executive Vice President, Pharmaceutical/Science

With the recent additions of the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Administrative Officer roles, this new position is another step in the evolution of Advanstar, as we continue to build on our vision of identifying new opportunities for growth and to improve value for our customers.

In his role, Ron's focus will be to combine Advanstar's CBI conference business and Pharmaceutical business, by tapping into the resources of both in order to accelerate their growth to realize their full potential.

Ron brings with him over thirty-three years of B2B media company experience, with extensive expertise and knowledge of sales, marketing strategies, digital media, production, trade shows and acquisitions in the Pharmaceutical industry.  He previously served as Senior Vice President of Publishing at Canon Communications.  His achievements there included delivering significant revenue increases in digital media, webcasts, e-newsletters and the launch of QMED.
