In 1982 Harvey J. Nickelson founded Coast Commercial Bank, which was a highly regarded and well performing community bank. Harvey served as President and CEO of Coast Commercial Bank until 2003, then as a Marketing and Public Relations Consultant for Greater Bay Bancorp, which acquired Coast Commercial Bank. In his 56 year banking career, he has been recognized by numerous Chambers and community groups for his leadership, generosity and service in the community.
