Davis most recently served as Senior Vice President/Relationship Manager for Frost Bank in Fort Worth where he managed commercial and consumer clients with a combined portfolio of approximately $50 million. In his career, he has held increasingly responsible positions in all facets of commercial banking, and is highly regarded by his clients for his financial expertise and customer service. Also joining Davis at Colonial Savings is Chris Combest, who will work with Davis as Commercial Lending Relationship Specialist. Combest was previously at Frost Bank where she managed commercial banking relationships for the institution.
David Motley, President of Colonial Savings, said the growth of the company's consumer and business banking services prompted the addition of Davis and Combest to the staff. "In the past few years, we've seen more consumers and small business owners switch from the huge national banks to institutions like Colonial Savings which is family-owned, financially strong and focused on serving the needs of people in the communities of North Central Texas," Motley said. "They have discovered that we offer all the products and technology they need but we deliver a better, more personal banking relationship. They prefer doing business with a bank invested in the local area, with local decision-making and support. Brent's experience is exactly in line with our goals, and we are extremely pleased to have him on our team. His strong commercial banking experience and experience in the DFW market will be invaluable as we serve more customers."
Davis holds a BBA in Accounting from Abilene Christian University and is an alumnus of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. He is deeply involved in the community, and holds or has held leadership positions at The Parenting Center, the William Mann Certified Development Corporation, Tarrant Bankers Association, Habitat for Humanity, North Fort Worth Rotary, Adopt-a-School, and Junior Achievement.
