Vertellus Specialties Appoints New Business Unit President
INDIANAPOLIS, July 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Vertellus Specialties Inc., a leading specialty chemicals company, today announced that Bentley Park has been appointed President of the Vertellus Agriculture and Nutrition business effective July 1st, 2011. Mr. Park will replace John Craun who was serving as the President of the Agriculture and Nutrition business. Mr. Craun will work on a number of business development and sourcing projects until his scheduled retirement at the end of 2012.
Mr. Park most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Commercial division of Mohawk Industries where he provided strategic direction for the Commercial business. He also directly led the commercial sales organization and worked closely with the product management, product development, marketing and operations teams to execute the commercial business plan. Prior to joining Mohawk, Bentley led Universal Fibers as President and CEO where he was responsible for global expansion into Asian, European and Australian markets with increased sales annually. Mr. Park obtained his MBA from Duke University in 1991 and a BS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University. His early career spans over 20 years within the materials businesses at Honeywell and Allied Signal.
