Vertafore Announces Successful Implementation of PolicyIssuance at Special Insurance Services, Inc.

BOTHELL, Wash., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Vertafore® (http://www.vertafore.com), a leading provider of software and information to the insurance industry, today announced that Special Insurance Services (SIS) is in production with Vertafore PolicyIssuance. PolicyIssuance provides a streamlined process for Managing General Agents (MGAs) and brokers to issue policies, focusing on efficiency, productivity and cost reduction.

SIS, an MGA dedicated to providing retail agents with a market for their specialty insurance needs, selected the Vertafore PolicyIssuance solution to automate their policy processing unit.

PolicyIssuance is web-based and built to ACORD XML standards. The solution provides an efficient process for MGAs to issue policies by auto-filling data directly from their agency management system to the appropriate and most current Excess and Surplus (E&S) carrier forms. This eliminates the need for the MGA to manage the updates from the different carriers.
