Versant Health welcomes Maynard McAlpin as new Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Maynard manages all operations and information technology for Versant Health. With 25 years of experience, he'll lead its newly unified group to advance business performance as well as continuously improve customer satisfaction and retention.

A U.S. Navy veteran with more than 10 years of service, Maynard joins Versant Health from HM Health Solutions, a Highmark subsidiary, where he was Vice President, Delivery Services and Implementation. Maynard also served as President and Chief Executive Officer at Mokxa Technologies, as well as Charted Health Plan. He has also worked at Aetna, where he was Managing Director, Enterprise Strategic Planning, and at CareFirst, where he held a variety of executive leadership positions.
Maynard holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University, as well as a Masters in Science and a Master in Business Administration.
