LONDON, ON, Sept. 29, 2021 /PRNewswire/ - VersaBank ("VersaBank" or the "Bank") today announced that the underwriters of its previously announced public offering of common shares have fully exercised their option to purchase an additional 825,000 shares at a price of US $10.00 per share, the equivalent of CAD $12.68 per share based on the Bank of Canada exchange rate at the time of the exercise, resulting in an additional gross proceeds of US $8,250,000. The sale of the additional shares closed today. After giving effect to the full exercise of the over-allotment option, the total number of shares sold by VersaBank in the public offering increased to 6,325,000 shares and gross proceeds increased to US $63,250,000.
The offering was conducted through a syndicate of underwriters led by Raymond James & Associates, Inc. as sole bookrunning manager and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., as co-manager and includes their respective Canadian broker dealer affiliates.
