Verizon Wireless Announces Major Hiring Effort Throughout New York Metro Region
The company is actively hiring 250 positions in New York and New Jersey to fuel its continued growth
WARREN, N.J., March 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless is adding 150 part-time and full-time sales solutions specialists in its retail locations across New York and New Jersey before the end of July 2014. In addition, Verizon Wireless is looking to hire 100 inside sales position at its call center in Orangeburg, N.Y. before the end of May 2014. The new positions offer competitive salaries and benefits, including health care coverage that begins on the first day of employment, and participation in the company's 401(k) program, with a dollar-for-dollar match of up to six percent of an employee's salary contribution.
Verizon, which employs approximately 3,000 employees across the New York Metro Region, offers tuition reimbursement for full-time and part-time employees, adoption assistance and bonuses, in addition to flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and evenings.
