Verizon to Hire 240 Customer Service and Operations Employees in West Virginia
New Employees to Staff Service Centers, Install and Maintain Communications and Broadband Services
CHARLESTON, W.Va., April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon is planning to hire approximately 240 full-time employees in a variety of locations across the state to handle a wide range of sales, operations and customer support functions.
"Verizon is committed to deliver the best products and services to consumers and businesses, and we're looking for people to help take our customer service and sales support to an entirely new level," said Kathy Koelle, vice president of sales and marketing for Verizon's North Central region.
The customer service representatives will work in Verizon's call center and service-dispatch locations, handling service and repair requests from new and existing customers. Excellent customer-contact skills are essential.
The technicians will install, maintain and repair communications and broadband services.
Applicants should be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Starting wages range from $10 to $31 per hour, plus benefits and paid training.
