Verizon Signs Contract With Windstream
Device line-up, robust network cited as keys to landing account
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Jan. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest and most reliable network, has been selected as the primary wireless provider for Windstream Corp., an S&P 500 company with operations in 29 states, including the District of Columbia, and annual revenues of about $4 billion.
Under the contract, Verizon Wireless will provide wireless phones and service for Windstream's corporate and field workforce. Headquartered in Little Rock, Ark., Windstream provides high-speed Internet, phone and digital TV services to residential customers and IP-based voice and data services to businesses and government agencies.
