Company Gives Five Organizations More Than 100 Tickets to Today's Washington Wizards Game, Enabling Fans on Limited Incomes to Attend
WASHINGTON, March 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- In these tough economic times, five District of Columbia nonprofits are making it possible for area residents on limited incomes to attend a Washington Wizards basketball game – courtesy of Verizon.
Verizon donated the tickets for the Wizards game today against the Indiana Pacers. The tickets were shared with Step Afrika; Washington, DC Economic Partnership; Anacostia Coordinating Council; Latino Economic Development; and the Carlos Rosario School.
