Verizon Launches Value Added Distributor Program with SYNNEX Corporation
NEW YORK and GREENVILLE, S.C., March 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Enterprise Solutions today unveiled a new value added distributor program for the company's enterprise technology services, including global networking and security business communications, IT solutions and managed services. SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), a leading Technology Solutions distributor, is the first value added distributor to offer this new distribution model and will include Verizon's Rapid Response Retainer in the portfolio of connectivity, security, cloud and collaboration services they provide their expansive network of solution providers.
Under this program, SYNNEX can add Verizon's technology to the product and service portfolio they make available to their partners, often technology service providers and value added resellers. The model allows Verizon technology to be wrapped around SYNNEX' valued solutions, offering a complete IT services package that resellers can position to end customers. Verizon is able to reach new customers quickly through SYNNEX, and customers are able to access Verizon's IT services while continuing to work with their trusted IT services advisor.
"Security is critical to every business, but breach response requires a specialized skill set that few companies possess – that's why they need to be able to quickly obtain high-level expertise when an incident occurs," said Tim Acker, vice president, mobility and connected solutions, SYNNEX Corporation. "Verizon's Rapid Response Retainer addresses that need and is an ideal fit for our customers. Moreover, our new value added distributor relationship makes it easy and profitable for our resellers to add depth to their offerings by combining Verizon's expansive portfolio of advanced communications, security, mobility, and managed services with their unique solutions for end-customers."
Verizon's Rapid Response Retainer, helps organizations immediately respond to a security incident. The program provides digital forensics, incident response and IT investigations at a moment's notice. It is available 24/7/365 around the globe, and for major incidents Verizon can provide on-the-ground consultants. As Verizon continues to launch additional products under this model, SYNNEX will be a preferred distributor to bring them to market.
"We are focused on providing fast and efficient ways for customers to access our products and services, and expanding our global reach," said Adam Famularo, vice president of global channels for Verizon Enterprise Solutions. "SYNNEX was an ideal choice to be a Verizon value added distributor given their large network of partners and customers and our success working with them in the past."
SYNNEX' proprietary platforms and collaborative peer communities provide both unique valuable tools and complementary reach and expertise to help vendor and reseller partners grow sales and market share. For enterprise advanced communications and security needs, resellers can leverage both MOBILITYSolv and CONVERGESolv, the SYNNEX platforms that bring together client and network devices, reliable wireless and wireline connectivity, and control, security and analytics software, as well as the services to design, deploy and manage complete connectivity solutions.
