Verizon High Speed Internet Priced so Low, Consumers Can Forget About Dial-up
New Pricing for HSI Stand-Alone and 'Dry-Loop' Service Makes Broadband Accessible and Even More Economical
NEW YORK, April 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Consumers interested in adding broadband service for their home computing platform can now do so for as little as $14.99 per month, gaining a better Internet experience for less money, with no worries about clogged networks or exceeding monthly dial-up time limits.
Verizon has introduced two new price tiers for both its stand-alone, unbundled High Speed Internet service and for so-called "dry-loop connections," which are connections without voice service. No annual plan contracts are required, and prices are good for one year. When ordered online, customers save $5 on the monthly price for any price point, and also receive a free wireless router – a $34.99 value. The new price tiers are effective immediately.
