Verizon Enhances Coverage Near University of Arkansas Campus and Around Fayetteville
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Calling the Hogs will be heard loud and clear by Arkansas fans in Fayetteville. Verizon Wireless recently installed three advanced digital cell sites throughout the city to provide enhanced coverage to residents, University of Arkansas students and fans. The new sites will specifically improve coverage
- Near the intersection of Highway 265 and Highway 45
- At the University of Arkansas Soccer Stadium, along Highway 180 and east of Highway 112, as well as around Bates Park and Martin Luther King Blvd.
- Along Mission Blvd. to the east of Highway 265 and in areas north and south of Highway 45
The addition of these new sites, which utilize high speed EV-DO and Rev. A technology, will enhance 3G coverage for residents of these communities; allowing them to enjoy even clearer call reception and faster speeds when sending text, picture or video messages; downloading hit music through VCAST Music with Rhapsody; or catching up on their favorite TV Shows on VCAST Mobile TV.
