Verifications, Inc. Advances Its Information Protection Strategy by Upgrading Its Use of the CoSentry's Sioux Falls Data Center
SIOUX FALLS, S.D., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- May 2010 marks the two year anniversary of Verifications, Inc.'s selection of CoSentry as their hosted data center provider.
Under the original agreement, Verifications, Inc. started their use with CoSentry as a redundant data center facility in the event their production sites experienced unexpected interruptions. Seeing advantages such as collocation costs savings, on-site engineering services and around the clock security along with diverse network and power infrastructure, Verifications, Inc. has migrated services that were originally playing a backup role to a real-time environment.
Verifications' choice of CoSentry was based on several criteria. The migration to a hosted Data Center can be an intimidating business decision, and a daunting task to complete. Verifications chose CoSentry based on standard technical criteria such as Network Infrastructure and backbone, diverse power grids and "off-grid" redundant power, Compliance and Certification (SAS-70 Type I and II). In all of these criteria CoSentry was found to be among the "Best of Class."
"CoSentry's responses to the RFP process and the subsequent due diligence was not only impressive, but made the process rather painless," commented Chris Gustafson, Verifications Inc.'s Director of Infrastructure.
Verifications' Executive Vice-President of Technology, Jim Griffin, added, "We have found CoSentry to be more than just a provider or vendor, we have found them to be a real partner ensuring our successful migration to the new Data Center. To date we have successfully migrated approximately 65% of the applications to the Data Center without any business disruption."
"Verifications, Inc. is a perfect example of a company that needs to provide their clients with a secure, always on service," related Jon Fradet, Solutions Consultant for CoSentry. "We consider Verifications, Inc. to be a prime example of a well run business performing critical functions in a high performance industry." He continued, "we knew they had a demanding clientele and a solid vision to serve them well, the tenure and maturation of this relationship underscores just how well developed that vision was."
Verifications, Inc. indicates that they look forward to a continued and valued business partnership with CoSentry. Because CoSentry is a secure, compliant and technologically advanced partner, Verifications is able to leverage this partnership for their clients looking for background screening, drug testing and onboarding solutions maximum value.
