Veri Launches Beta Technology Connecting Social Celebrities to Fans in Real-Time
Mobile monetization tool disrupts the current celebrity-agent model while offering fans unprecedented access
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Veri, the app connecting social celebrities and their fans, is challenging the status quo of social media circles. Today, the platform is launching the beta version of its technology with plans to fully launch in October 2016.
The company's primary mission is to create a trusted, reputable marketplace that removes the power from traditional talent agencies and places it in the hands of established and rising social stars. Through the Veri app, online celebrities across various categories, that meet a minimum follower threshold, can engage in one-on-one video calls with fans for a fee. For the fan, Veri offers the opportunity to take the social celebrity interaction to the next level, with unprecedented, personal access.

Early adopters to the platform, will be able to partake in Veri-sponsored contests to virtually meet social superstars including Xenia Tchoumi. As the user base grows, Veri's algorithm will be able to predict and calculate the real-time market value for a given celebrity through its machine learning technology. These calculations will take into account important variables such as location, time of the year, area of talent, changes in social media following, response rates, etc., giving the social celebrity a true understanding of their influence. Eventually, Veri will be able to predict and find the next wave of social celebrities like no other tool on the market.
The company's long-term plans include a veritable virtual manager for social celebrities to provide additional support with business management, strategic topics and promotional opportunities. Veri also hopes to expand the platform to include the booking of in-person meetings and the travel accommodations they require.
Veri will be at Startup Alley to demo the beta version of the product at this year's TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco on September 13th 2016.
