Venture Global LNG Expands Leadership Team And Presence In Asia
WASHINGTON, March 17, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Venture Global LNG, Inc. is pleased to announce that Stephen H. Del Regno, formerly head of marketing for Chevron's North Asia LNG, has joined the company as Senior Vice President LNG Marketing. Del Regno will lead Asia marketing efforts from Tokyo.

During his career, Del Regno developed a broad network of industry relationships with a proven track record of successful commercialization of LNG projects. While at Chevron, Del Regno led the marketing effort that successfully secured long-term sales contracts for the company's two large Australian LNG projects.
Based in Tokyo for the past 14 years, Del Regno brings to Venture Global LNG more than 35 years of experience in the energy industry. He has worked extensively in Asia, North America and the Middle East in many segments of the gas and LNG value chain, including natural gas marketing, development and acquisition of natural gas pipeline and distribution infrastructure. He has also helped to develop gas and electric power assets in Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
Prior to his time at Chevron, Del Regno was President of the El Paso Japan Company, where he was responsible for development of LNG, natural gas and gas-fired electric power assets. He was also accountable for originating opportunities for electricity marketing, gas marketing and trading businesses in Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
Prior to the merger of Chevron and Texaco, he served as President of Texaco Natural Gas International (TNGI), where he directed commercial support for development of Texaco's discovered and prospective worldwide natural gas reserves.
